The Light Up the City project was launched in 2019 and is a private project led by the a committee of key organisations, partners, municipalities and assemblies aimed at transforming the frontage and streets of Ghana – A mesmerising wonderland of twinkling lights that embraces the festive season.

‘Light Up the City’ is a series of annual holiday events designed by Jandel Ltd to be executed in partnership with various stakeholders including:

The central idea is to promote a feeling of well-being and enhance the general social & economic mood nationwide especially during the various holiday seasons throughout the year such as:

This has been done with lighting decorations along selected prominent avenues in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi with branding opportunities for sponsoring companies. Prime locations/avenues for decorations include:
